Getting Started with Media Guard

Install and configure the plugin in four easy steps.

Download the Plugin

Download the Media Guard ZIP file to get started.

Install & Activate

In your WordPress dashboard:

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  2. Choose the media-guard.zip file and click Install Now
  3. Click Activate Plugin

Enter Your License Key (Pro or Agency)

Go to Settings → Media Guard in your WordPress admin. Paste your license key and click Activate.

Pro and Agency features unlock instantly after activation. Free users can skip this step — the plugin works without a key.

Protect Your First File

Upload a file to the WordPress Media Library, then:

  1. Go to Media Guard → File Manager
  2. Click Add File and select your upload
  3. Choose which roles can access it
  4. Use the shortcode to embed the protected viewer on any page
