Refund and Returns Policy

We sell digital products (WordPress plugins and licenses). Here’s how refunds work, in plain language.

30 days, no questions asked. Email us within 30 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you in full. We don’t ask why. We don’t try to talk you out of it.

What’s eligible

  • Media Guard Pro licenses — full refund within 30 days of purchase.
  • Media Guard Agency licenses — full refund within 30 days of purchase.
  • Renewals — full refund within 30 days of the renewal charge.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@wpmediaguard.com from the address you used at checkout.
  2. Include your order number or the email subject of your purchase confirmation.
  3. That’s it. No form to fill out. No survey.

What happens next

  1. We reply to confirm we received your request (usually within one business day).
  2. We issue the refund to your original payment method through Stripe.
  3. Your bank or card issuer typically posts the refund within 5–10 business days. Some banks are faster; some slower. It’s their timeline, not ours.
  4. We deactivate the license on our end so the slot frees up.

After a refund

The Pro plugin will keep working until you uninstall it, but it won’t receive updates or download new versions. To remove it cleanly:

  1. In WordPress, go to Media Guard → Pro License → Deactivate License.
  2. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins, deactivate PaulsPerfectPC Media Guard Pro, and delete it.
  3. The free Media Guard plugin will keep protecting your files normally.

If you’re outside 30 days

Email us anyway. We can’t guarantee a refund past 30 days, but we’ll look at every case individually. If something’s gone wrong — a major bug, a billing mistake, a charge you didn’t expect — we want to know about it.

Failed deliveries and missing license emails

If you paid but never received a license email within an hour:

  1. Check your spam / junk folder.
  2. Log in at wpmediaguard.com/my-account — your license keys are listed there too.
  3. If still missing, email support@wpmediaguard.com with your order number and we’ll resend it within one business day.

Chargebacks

Please email us first before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us $15 even when issued in our favor, and they’re slower than a direct refund anyway. We’d much rather just refund you.
